Bonnie's house is light and airy. Windows are not hidden by heavy draperies, but use white blinds with colorful scarves and stained glass to welcome the light. Her accessories of painted glassware, whimsical angels and flowers complete the feeling. The entire effect is like walking into one of Bonnie's paintings.

Bonnie has a number of flowers and plants growing in flowerbeds around her house. She graciously offers to share cut flowers or bulbs of her prolific bloomers, so that others may enjoy them as well. Although she does not paint still life pieces, she does get inspiration for her floral fantasies from the colorful surroundings.
