Stephanie Hunter-Spay is a
graduate of Herron School of Art with a Bachelors degree in art
education. She spent the final year of her education at Indiana
University Bloomington,
where most of her work concentrated on painting. After
graduation, she directed her artistic efforts toward working with a number
of interior designers, creating decorative finishes and custom murals.
Although most of her work has been residential, some of her public
accomplishments include a series of nine murals for
University Hospital, and a large-scale black and white
mural of Purdue University for a local restaurant. Her personal artistic endeavors
are focused on both
oil and acrylic painting. |

Gerry Traicoff began painting at an early age and was encouraged to
pursue an
education in art. He studied at Ball State University under the guidance of
artists such as John Gee and Jean Murphy. He worked for
a billboard company and a screen printing
company before returning to school and completing a degree in computer
science. He focused on artistic pursuits in 2001 and began exhibiting
in local and regional shows such as the Hoosier Salon, South Side Art League Regional Show and
other exhibits. He has demonstrated a talent in figure and portrait
painting, but paints still life and landscapes with equal talent.
His association with Group 6 artists has expanded his exposure and
challenges him to broaden his content and skills.
